Insurance & Payment Policies

At New Hampshire Spine & Sport, we want to remove as many of the challenges associated with insurance as we can. We will get in touch with your insurance company and determine your coverage benefits. We will also file your claim and await payment for 90 days. If the insurance company pays us as they have originally outlined in their benefits, you will only be responsible for any deductibles, copayments, or non-covered services. If you have any questions about what is covered and not, please don’t hesitate to ask. We accept the following insurance plans: Anthem BC/BS, Harvard Pilgrim, Cigna, Aetna, and Medicare.

Our New Patient Form is here.

Patients Without Chiropractic Coverage
Many patients may have plans without chiropractic coverage. We do have plans so that you are able to receive care without coverage. Just ask! We also accept cash, personal checks, and major credit cards.

Worker’s Compensation
If you are injured at work, that care should be paid for under your employer’s Worker’s Comp insurance. Please let your employer know you are seeking care and obtain their insurance information (name and address of carrier). If your employer does not provide this information, a settlement has not been made within 90 days, or if you suspend or terminate care, any fees and services are due immediately.

Personal Injury or Automobile Accidents
In a car accident? Please let your auto insurance carrier know you are seeking care immediately. You are ultimately responsible for your bill, but we will wait for settlement of your claim for up to six months after completion of care. Once the claim is settled, or if you suspend or terminate care, any fees for services are due immediately.

Medicare
We do accept assignment from Medicare. The check is usually sent directly to our office in payment of the services that Medicare will cover, which for Chiropractors is ONLY manual manipulation of the spine. Medicare pays 80% of the allowable fee once the deductible has been met. You are required to pay the deductible and the remaining 20% as well as any non-covered services. Our office completes and files the forms for Medicare at no charge.

Secondary Insurance
Please inform us of any secondary insurance you may have (i.e. Aflac) and we will assist you to the extent we are able.
